P.S. Always use a P.S. in your letter. Always. Repeat your request for a gift here. Mention monthly giving, too. Why? If your reader has only 30 seconds to spend with your letter, she'll spend 15 of them here.
P.P.S. One last tip: Read my lead paragraph again. You'll see I make four references to YOU. In fact, I make 55 references to YOU just in this three-page letter. There's a reason for that: YOU is the most important word in fundraising. A good fundraising letter is all about your reader - not your organization. Never forget that.
